Specialized FIBC now available for agricultural applications.
/Engineering News Articles/ - FRANKLIN, MA, January 30, 2008 - Developed by the industry leader and owner of globally established FIBC brands Marino Technologies, Rafypak, Atlas Bag, and Walpole Bag, Berry Plastics - Tapes and Coatings Division is pleased to announce the introduction of AgriBags™. AgriBags™, the bulk-bag engineered solution for practical transportation of crops, was developed in response to the rapidly changing agricultural- based industries.
Upon identifying the need for efficient and cost-effective material handling of crops such as grain, seed, corn, rice, salt, flour, sugar, beans, peanuts, soy, and other crops, the R&D engineers at Berry Plastics - Tapes and Coatings Division began working on a solution. In addition; custom designs are readily available to meet specific transport needs. The bags can be certified to ISO, FDA, GMP, AIB, UN, and HACCP standards.
