Torrey Hills Technologies, LLC Receives New Furnace Order from OrionSolar Photovoltaics Ltd. in Israel
Torrey Hills Technologies, LLC, today announced the receipt of an order from Orionsolar Photovoltaics Ltd., a leading developer of low cost solar energy in Israel, for a RSK 2506 Fast Fire Belt Furnace.


/Engineering News Articles/ - SAN DIEGO, CA, March 06, 2008 -- Torrey Hills Technologies, LLC, today announced the receipt of an order from Orionsolar Photovoltaics Ltd., a leading developer of low cost solar energy in Israel, for a RSK 2506 Fast Fire Belt Furnace.

The equipment will be installed and put to work at Orionsolar in February 2008. Belt furnace processing is used by the company for rapid emitter formation to produce high efficiency cells.

"Orionsolar is the first customer in Israel to utilize Torrey Hills' RSK series belt furnace in production," said President Ken Kuang. Training of Orionsolar electrical and mechanical engineers has been included free in the sales package.
