EFC INTERNATIONAL Subsidizes Employees' Fuel Expense
EFC International has made the decision to subsidize fuel expenses for all employees.
/Engineering News Articles/ - ST. LOUIS, MO, April 30, 2008 - EFC International has made the decision to subsidize fuel expenses for all employees. With oil and gas prices breaking records and no resolution in sight, it may force employees to consider other employment closer to their homes, which would clearly adversely affect our company and our employees.
EFC, headquartered in St. Louis, has branches in Atlanta, Chicago and soon to come Toronto. The cost of fuel will be subsidized for the employees' commute to and from the office. Doug Adams, owner of EFC, states, "EFC International finds no reasonable forthcoming solution to the fuel expenses that are devastating to its employees, EFC and the world-wide economy. We encourage all corporations to consider similar support for their employees during these extremely unusual fuel costs. We realize the absurdity of fuel prices more than most companies because we are a major supplier to the automotive industry."
EFC International is a leading provider of specialty metal, plastic, electrical component parts to the OEM and Distribution market places. The company was established in 1983 and specializes in providing its customers with a "One Source Solution" for specialty components, technical support and engineering assistance.
