Sergei Ikovenko, Ph.D., Named an Honored Member of Cambridge Who's Who

/Engineering News Articles/ - Boston, MA, June 1, 2008, Sergei Ikovenko, chief specialist and director of innovative leadership programs for GEN3 Partners, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in product innovation.
A 31-year veteran of product innovation and concept design, Dr. Ikovenko holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering and Science from Vanderbilt University and a Doctor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Saint-Petersburg State University in Russia. As chief specialist and director of innovative leadership programs for GEN3, an engineering and consulting firm, he is responsible for overseeing projects and facilities and coordinating with clients. He is affiliated with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the New York Academy of Sciences and the Chemical Engineering division of the American Society for Engineering Education. Dedicated to using innovative methodology to develop new products in other disciplines, his efforts have been recognized with numerous awards and citations, including the Development Innovation Award from Procter & Gamble, the Development of Creativity Award from Unilever, the Innovation Award from Samsung and Innovation Awards from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He currently holds 77 patents.
In addition to working for GEN3, Dr. Ikovenko is also an honorary professor in Edinburgh, Scotland, as well as an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Ikovenko has taught seminars on innovation at MIT, Harvard University, Carnegie Mellon University, the California Institute of Technology, Stanford University, Vanderbilt University, the University of London, Oxford University, and other leading educational institutions worldwide.
