/Engineering News Articles/ - Raynham, MA, July 18, 2008, Lauren A. Beneduci, New Product Development Quality Engineer for DePuy Spine, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of medical product development.

Ms. Beneduci is proud to be a woman thriving in the field of engineering. As new product development quality engineer, she is tasked with ensuring the design and functionality of new products meet all quality standards set forth by DePuy Spine, the medical device industry and surgeons throughout the world. She joined the DePuy companies as a materials and logistics engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing Technologies group of DePuy Orthopedics, Inc. Within two years, she became a purchasing engineer for packaging products, progressing eventually to her current position, with DePuy Spine, through hard work and dedication. Previously, she worked with DePuy through the cooperative program at Northeastern University. She considers her participation in the DePuy Asia Pacific sourcing project to be her proudest professional accomplishment to date.

A product of Northeastern University, Ms. Beneduci earned her Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. She looks forward to pursuing her Master's Degree in Business Management.
