Khuram Shah Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

/Engineering News Articles/ - Placentia, CA, August 29, 2008, Khuram Shah, a civil engineer for the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of urban infrastructure.
With more than six years of professional experience, Mr. Shah began specializing in civil engineering and design two years ago. His daily responsibilities now include managing and devising environmental projects for water treatment plants, environmental landfills, material recycling, water reclamation and sewer networks. Mr. Shah was a Co-Designer for the Puente Hills Landfill sub grade design for environmental considerations in 2006. In 2007, he was honored with a letter of acknowledgment for work done at the Garden Grove Army Reserve Center. In 2008, he received a professional commendation for work done on BP Carson Site Utilities concept plan. He attributes his swift success to the support he receives from his mentors.
Mr. Shah received his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Fullerton in 2007, where he is currently pursuing his master's degree. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps, from which he received a meritorious promotion in 2001.
