Ms. Selchan brings 25 years of professional experience to Boise, a paper manufacturing company. As product development engineer, she utilizes her expertise in statistical process control and wet end chemistry to develop paper products and oversee the manufacturing department. She became involved in her profession because of her fascination with the papermaking process. Prior to attaining her current position, Ms. Selchan worked as a paper process engineer. Additionally, she was a paper sales representative for Appleton Papers for eight years, during which stint she received several awards and incentive trips for achieving her targets.

A product of Western Michigan University, Ms. Selchan holds a Bachelor of Science in Paper Science. She is an active supporter of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and Alley Cat Allies and is credited as the founder of Purrfect Friends, an animal adoption organization. Ms. Selchan intends to increase her involvement in market research while continuing in the technical side of manufacturing.
