Mr. Zurakowski has 28 years of experience in engineering. Regarded as an expert in technical leadership, he is responsible for overseeing product design and customer interfacing for commercial vehicle emission control systems. Mr. Zurakowski became involved in his profession because of the influence of his grandfather and father, who were automotive workers. A recipient of two Customer Driven Awards and a Technical Innovation Award from Ford Motor Company for his work on armored cars, he credits his success to his consistency, focus and flexibility.

A Professional Engineer, Mr. Zurakowski received his Master of Engineering Management from Wayne State University, and his Master of Engineering and his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan. In addition to industry-related training, he earned a Master of Divinity from Ecumenical Theological Seminary. Away from work, Mr. Zurakowski serves as an officer with the Coast Guard Reserve and as the choir director of his local church.
