As lead rocket propulsion engineer, he is responsible for providing technical leadership to the team developing the rocket engine that will power SpaceShipTwo on its sub-orbital trajectory into space. (SpaceShipTwo will be the first commercial spaceship to provide the incredible adventure of manned spaceflight to paying passengers.) Mr. Colby received his Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2005 and his Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Boston University in 2003. He is a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, the Tau Beta Pi honor society and the Sigma Gamma Tau Honor Society.
