Donald J. Krook Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Engineering
Certified System Maintenance Administrator and Senior Lead Engineer with Carlson Center Properties

MINNETONKA, MN, December 23, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Donald J. Krook, Senior Lead Engineer for Carlson Real Estate Company's Carlson Center Properties, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of engineering.

Mr. Krook has an impressive 20 years of professional experience in building engineering. He joined Carlson in 2002 and is responsible for overseeing all building operations including HVAC, plumbing, energy conservation planning, electrical work, and working alongside tenants to ensure comfort and satisfaction. Additionally, he works with Energy Star and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design of the U.S. Green Building Council. Prior to joining Carlson Real Estate, Mr. Krook worked for four years as chief engineer for TrizecHahn Office Properties and three years as chief engineer with Koll Management where he won the Engineer of the Year Award.

An interest in electronics prompted Mr. Krook to become involved in his profession. A certified system maintenance administrator, he received his state chief boilers license and is certified in CFC universal refrigerants. He is president and superintendent of the Building Owners and Managers Association International and is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers. Mr. Krook graduated from Hennepin Technical Institute in 1988 with a degree in Industrial Energy Systems and is currently working toward certification as a facilities management administrator.
