Kenneth Sommer has 35 years of professional experience


HICKSVILLE, NY, June 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kenneth Sommer, Senior Structural Project Engineer at Koutsoubis, Alonso Associates, PE, PC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of project engineering.

With 35 years of experience in his field, Mr. Sommer specializes in structural engineering. On a daily basis, he is responsible for overseeing the design of foundations, analyzing the super structures for commercial, residential, institutional and educational areas of construction, and reviewing construction documents and drawings that are issued to building departments for building permits. Currently in the process of writing a book, Mr. Sommer's interest in engineering, physics and mathematics drew him to his career and he attributes his success to his self-discipline and goal-oriented nature.

Mr. Sommer received his Associate's Degree from SUNY Farmingdale in 1981 and is a registered professional structural engineer licensed by the New York State Education Department. A member of Tau Alpha Pi Honor Society and Mensa International High IQ Society. He is in the process of developing his own business.
