Nicholas F. Scott, Technical Specialist, Has 34 Years of Experience with GE

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, August 24, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicholas F. Scott, Technical Specialist & Engineering Specialist for General Electric Company, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering.

Mr. Scott is proud of his close professional association with GE. Now on his 34th year in his current position, he designs and develops onsite machines, and performs maintenance work in nuclear power, gas, oil and coal plants. An expert in gas and steam turbine rotors, Mr. Scott currently holds a laser alignment and gas turbine patent. He attributes his success to hard work and the inspiration that he received from his mentor, who was already with GE and encouraged him to build his career there as well.

In 1988, Mr. Scott earned his Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. His goals for the future include creating and designing new technologies for measurement systems at GE and educating others.
