Joseph P. Ribble Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Joseph P. Ribble manages a state-of-the-art metallurgy lab and tripled its income in two years
BEAUMONT, TX, September 7, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joseph P. Ribble, Metallurgical Engineer at Metco, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering.
With 22 years of experience in his field, Mr. Ribble specializes in physical metallurgy and failure analysis. As a metallurgical engineer at Metco, he is responsible for overseeing the physical metallurgy section, managing the laboratory, conducting welding and corrosion research, consulting and analyzing failure. He has published articles in the 'Welding Journal' magazine in 1991, 'AsM International Volume 2, Case Histories in Failure Analysis,' and 'Materials Performance' magazine in 1997. Mr. Ribble has authored professional papers which were presented at The Meallurgical Society Of AIME, October 1991 and NACE Corrosion '96 Paper No. 543, March 1996.
After graduating from high school, Mr. Ribble worked on drilling rigs in Southern California and eventually decided that engineering would be better when the oil field collapsed in the early 1980s. He then went back to school, weighed his options and decided a specialization in the metallurgical field. He attributes his success to the support he receives from his mentors and his ability to learn something new everyday.
Mr. Ribble received his Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo in 1988. He is a member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.
