Normand Tremblay joins Symetrix as Executive Vice-President - Sales and Business Development
Symetrix inc., the Canadian Data Center Infrastructure Specialist, today announced that Normand Tremblay has joined the company as Executive Vice-President in charge of sales and business development.

This appointment further strengthens the company's drive to achieve a dominant position in the Canadian data center industry.

Mr. Tremblay has extensive experience in managing Sales and Operations in large multinational organizations in such countries as the US, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Canada. He has also contributed to the success of start-ups and mid-size companies. Furthermore, he has had remarkable successes in setting up strategic distribution partnerships that led to tremendous new growth opportunities in the organizations where they were introduced.

Prior to joining Symetrix, Mr. Tremblay was Senior Vice-President of Sales for the Thomson Systems Division, North America, based in Ramsey, New Jersey, on the outskirts of New York City. Thomson is the world leading provider of solutions for the creation, management, delivery and access of content for the Communication, Media and Entertainment industries. Previously, Mr. Tremblay was Managing Director for Canada at Apple Canada, based in Markham, Ontario, with responsibility encompassing all markets and all products. He has also held senior executive positions at Nortel Networks in Paris, France and London, UK, and at Bell Canada Enterprises in Montreal and Toronto. Mr. Tremblay holds an MBA from HEC Montreal.
