YPSILANTI, MI, October 26, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Muhammad S. Ahmed, Assistant Professor at Eastern Michigan University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in higher education.

Dr. Ahmed has 21 years of overall professional experience. As an assistant professor, he coordinates and manages graduate and master's programs, administers new product development for the health care industry, and works to expand the base knowledge of developing new products. He is also an entrepreneur with his own company, Ansy Tech, Inc.

In 1999, Dr. Ahmed earned a Ph.D. in industrial engineering at Wayne State University. He is a member of the American Society for Engineering Education, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, International. He received the Teaching Excellence Award for Outstanding Participation in Global Conferences in the Areas of New Teaching Methodologies from Bayer Inc. in China.
