Scott D. Redpath Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Scott D. Redpath's positive role models gave him the support he needed to become a science teacher
MIDDLEBORO, MA, October 28, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Scott D. Redpath, Science Teacher for John T. Nichols, Jr. Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in physical science.
Scott D. Redpath has seven years of experience as a science teacher for John T. Nichols, Jr. Middle School. He is responsible for teaching technology and engineering to eighth-grade students, managing the robotics club and the invention convention team, assisting other district students on technology and engineering education through the school's Project Gateway team that is connected with the museum in Boston. He became involved in his profession because of his desire to work with children and assist them in technology and engineering, and he attributes his success to having good role models, including his sixth-grade science teacher, Wes Blauss.
Mr. Redpath received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2001. He is a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Association, the National Science Teachers Association, and the National Education Association.
