Extraordinary Engineer Drives Into The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Robert L. Barksdale has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his extraordinary effort in the Automotive Industry.
DETROIT, MI, December 2, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Robert L. Barksdale has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his extraordinary effort in the Automotive Industry. As a Product/Resident Engineer with Chrysler Group LLC for the past 16 years, Mr. Barksdale has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Robert was recently promoted to Lead Engineer. He is responsible for managing a team of quality engineers to track, coordinate, and implement product and process improvements for all assembly areas in Detroit Axle Plant, including Dodge Nitro, Jeep Liberty, Dodge Dakota, 300 C rear axles, and Dodge Ram. Mr. Barksdale also has engineering responsibility for all carrier and case machining operations in the plant. His success stems from his vision for the future, great mentors and his determination to succeed.
During his educational career, Robert earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College at Baton Rouge. He is a member and serves on the Board of Directors of One Hundred Black Men of Greater Detroit. Mr. Barksdale is also a member of the National Association of Black Engineers and the Former President of Investments in the Black. In addition, Robert is a U.S. Army Advisor Board Member.
