John A. Yarbrough has 39 years of experience in railroad track construction and design

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, April 23, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ --John A. Yarbrough, Vice President and Chief Engineer of Wilson Railway, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in transportation management.

With 39 years of experience in public works, John A. Yarbrough is a noted authority on railroad track construction and design. He lends his talents to Wilson Railway, Inc., where he holds positions in the field as well as in administration. As vice president and chief engineer, he is responsible for overseeing the construction and maintenance of tracks, managing design and program development, supervising engineers and projects, and consulting. Mr. Yarbrough first honed his skills with the Santa Fe Railway, where he functioned as superintendent of maintenance from 1971 to 1991; he also worked for Light Railway Transit and the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority. He attributes his success and longevity to his passion for his industry.

Mr. Yarbrough holds a certification in construction management and is a certified secondary design engineer. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association, the National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association, and the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association.
