DILLON, CO, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Florine P. Raitano, Chief Executive Officer of Rural Development Specialists, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.

Dr. Raitano has 25 years of overall professional experience. As the CEO of Rural Development Specialists, LLC, she is in charge of overseeing public policy, rural development, community development, broadband, transportation, water, housing and healthcare services to rural communities. She is the former mayor of Dillon, Colorado, and past executive director of the Colorado Rural Development Council.

The Board Chairwoman for St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, Dr. Raitano serves as president of the Rural Community Assistance Corporation. She is a member of the Economic Development Council of Colorado and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Dr. Raitano received her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medical Studies, with a minor in Psychology, Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and participated in coursework in pre-medical studies and psychology at Creighton University.
