Steven E. Zell excels in chemical engineering and environmental consulting

WINDSOR, CT, June 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Steven E. Zell, Principal Consulting Chemical Engineer for TRC Companies, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in chemical engineering and environmental consulting.

Mr. Zell has a total of 32 years engineering experience, dedicated to responding to clients' needs in a detailed and efficient manner. At his current position with TRC Companies, Inc., he assists clients in toxic tort litigation, performs air pollutant emission and dispersion analyses and plume visibility analyses in view of obtaining environmental permits, and performs offsite consequence analysis and risk management planning for companies that store toxic and flammable chemicals.

Prior to his current position, he spent six years working as a chemical process engineer in the petrochemical and petroleum refining industries, and five years developing computer applications to optimize chemical processes. He also worked for six years as an Environmental and Safety Engineer for a major chemical and pharmaceutical company in France, where he developed methods for measuring pollutant emission rates using tracer gases.

Mr. Zell received a Bachelor of Engineering with High Honor from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1978. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Connecticut, and a member of the Air & Waste Management Association, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. He has also created many computer applications to rapidly perform specialized calculations for his clients' needs, using his expertise in both chemical and environmental engineering.
