Adhikari, Director of the Department of Chemistry at Angstrom Technologies, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in organic synthesis, photochemistry, photophysics, nanoparticles and quantum dots for optoelectronic application.
In his position at Angstrom Technologies, Inc., Dr. Adhikari monitors the quality of chemicals and conducts research to develop new and sophisticated security chemicals for various applications. In 2008, Dr. Adhikari earned a Ph.D. in Photochemistry from the Center for Photochemical Sciences at Bowling Green State University OH. A member of the American Chemical Society, he was honored with a Charles E. Shanklin Award for Research Excellence, the Katzner and University Bookstore Funds for Graduate Student Research and Professional Development Award, the Graduate Student Professional Development Award, and the Contingency Student Travel Award from The International Society for Optical Engineering, all in 2008. He attributes his success to his hard work and the support he received from his key mentors.
