Robert F. Elwood is the recipient of a Bachelor of Science in information technology

MYRTLE BEACH, SC, August 13, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert F. Elwood, Equipment Specialist for Advanced Vector Extensions, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in equipment management.

With 46 years of professional experience, Mr. Elwood has spent the past 16 years employed by Advanced Vector Extensions. As an equipment specialist, he is responsible for overseeing machine repair and maintenance. Specializing in the maintenance of Mitsubishi equipment, he also handles troubleshooting issues. Formerly, Mr. Elwood worked for IBM. He attributes his success to his motivation and the support he received from his mother.

In 2005, Mr. Elwood graduated from Marist College at 60 years old; he received a Bachelor of Science in information technology. Prior to this, he earned an Associate of Science in applied chemistry. He volunteers his free time to Walk to Emmaus. For the past eight years, he has also been involved with Bible study classes at his local church. In the near future, Mr. Elwood intends to retire.
