SINGAPORE, October 9, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Hennie Frick to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of his phenomenal work in the Pharmaceutical Industry. As an R&D Pilot Plant Engineering Manager with GlaxoSmithKline, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Hennie has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Mr. Frick was responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a high performing team of 5 engineering technicians to assist in the commissioning of the 34 million pound Jurong R&D Pilot Plant. He has since successfully managed an annual capital budget of 1.5 to 2 million pounds to improve the capability of the Pilot Plant using only internal Pilot Plant engineering personnel to drive down cost and achieve full on-site ownership of capital projects. Hennie is currently responsible for leading a team of Jurong Pilot Plant chemists and students to develop a number of solvent recovery processes.
During his collegiate career, Hennie earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and a Master of Science degree in Bioreactor Systems from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He is also the owner of 5 patents in the United States.
