Valerie J. Poole Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Human Resources Consulting
Valerie Poole named a Professional of the Year for 2011-2010

PLACENTIA, CA, October 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Valerie Poole, Human Resources Consultant, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in employee relations.

Ms. Poole has 33 years of industry experience, and has spent the past 11 years as a human resources consultant. She oversees conflict resolution, coaches managers to handle employee issues, and ensures the accuracy of documentation. An independent contractor, Ms. Poole works alongside various small organizations that do not necessarily require a full-time human resource representative. She also serves as a human resource director for companies wishing to address employees and policy issues. Finally, Ms. Poole consults across a variety of industries, including banking, engineering, software, and printing.

After immigrating to the U.S. in 1968, Ms. Poole worked as an administrative assistant in the electronics industry, and was presented with an opportunity to transition into the field of human resources. She spent three years working for a workers' compensation insurance company in Los Angeles, and 12 years as an HR director for a printing company. She notes that her job requires a great deal of courage, and as such, she makes a conscious effort to be diplomatic, direct, and willing to deal with challenging issues — personal aspects of her work ethic that is always appreciated by her clients.

Ms. Poole received a certificate in human resources from the University of California, Irvine. She is a member of Personnel and Human Relations Association and SHRM. Ms. Poole was presented with the Paul J. Connolly award, which is given to a member of the management team who best represents leadership and dedication in the organization. Most recently she was named Professional of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who for excellence in human resources consulting for the 2011-2012 year.
