He has 30 years of experience in mining operations, including engineering maintenance, project management and new business development. Roy is knowledgeable and experienced professional consulting engineer with a penchant for rigid project systems application within his management style.

During his collegiate career, Roy earned a Mechanical Engineering Certificate from South Africa in 1992. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Engineers of Australia and the Project Management Institute. In the time away from his busy schedule, Roy greatly enjoys golfing and cycling.
