CATHLAMET, WA, May 17, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Charles A. Rambo, Senior Design Engineer at R.C.E. LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering.

Mr. Rambo has 34 years of overall professional experience. As a senior design engineer, he is responsible for managing daily operations, advertising, meeting with clients and assessing their needs, designing recovery systems and monitoring according to federal regulations. He started his career in an engineering and planning office, where he was assigned a project that involved turning a quarry yard into a landfill. This piqued his interest in landfills, and eventually he founded R.C.E. LLC in 1990.

Mr. Rambo has consulted on some landfill designs in Indonesia and advised the Australian government on writing regulations for the management of landfills. He has also supervised more than 800 gas recovery wells across the United States.

In 1974, Mr. Rambo received a Bachelor of Science in constructional engineering from California Polytechnic State University. He is listed in the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership, Who's Who in the Environment, and Who's Who in California.
