He attributes his success to his positive attitude, determination and focus.

In 1991, Mr. Gommers earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a concentration in plastics processing. He completed his studies in the Netherlands. His interest in plastics processing developed in high school; he realized the extensive possibilities for innovation that the field offered. Mr. Gommers hopes to return to Europe in the future and continue his career overseas.
