Mr. Gioia is a professional consultant who attributes his success to his honesty, forthright way of doing business and belief in a strong handshake. Two years ago, he and his wife, Barbara Swan, established a business consulting firm, Gioia-Swan Consulting Group, LLC. As president of the firm, Mr. Gioia is able to offer expertise from his 45 years of experience as a project manager, process manager and adjunct professor of business management. He assists his clients while utilizing his comprehensive knowledge in many areas, including project and process management, information technology, construction, engineering, data warehouse design and management, and lean process control. He advocates a leadership style and work environment that is flexible and collaborative, with an emphasis on mentoring and team success.

In addition, Mr. Gioia possesses exceptional experience in organizational change management, capability maturity model integration, regulations, critical infrastructure protection, Six Sigma, and ISO 9000. He has worked extensively with numerous organizations, such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, U.S. Department of Defense, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, North American Electric Reliability Corporation, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and U.S. Department of Energy. Mr. Gioia is pursuing a Ph.D. in business administration at Northcentral University. He holds an MBA, Bachelor of Science in business information systems, and total quality management certification, all from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Gioia is a member of the American Association of Cost Engineers. He enjoys woodworking and designing furniture in his spare time.
