Alvin E. Johnson Honored for Excellence in Engineering and Tool Inspection
After working as a journeyman machinist and journeyman tool & die maker, Mr. Johnson has became a lead inspector for National Optronics
FREE UNION, VA, August 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alvin Johnson, Lead Inspector for National Optronics, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in engineering with tool and machine inspection.
"I am constantly driven to do more," says Mr. Johnson, who has accrued 34 years of professional experience. Currently a lead inspector for National Optronics, a manufacturer of machines for the optical industry, Mr. Johnson is well prepared to fulfill his responsibilities of engineering, determining product output, and working with senior staff members at machine shops. His expertise in his field derives from his previous experience as a journeyman machinist and tool & die maker.
Mr. Johnson earned an Associate of Science in technical engineering from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 1994. He is a master mason of Freemasonry, and is actively involved with the Virginia Taxidermy Association. In his spare time, Mr. Johnson enjoys using his skill in taxidermy to make whitetail deer shoulder mounts. He is also a progressive farmer of beef and hay.
