Vincent Valentin Honored for Excellence in Field Operations and General Management

FREMONT, CA, August 11, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vincent Valentin, Vice President of Field Operations and Customer Support for Solyndra LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in field operations and general management.

For more than two decades, Mr. Valentin has held various roles in O&M and manufacturing industries that have led him to his current position. As vice president of field operations and customer support for Solyndra LLC, a solar panel manufacturer, he has for the past two years leveraged his general management expertise and broad experience in field operations to build a best-in-class customer support organization. He is tasked with developing and overseeing global customer support activities, including design services, field applications engineering, training, technical publications, system monitoring, and call centers.

Mr. Valentin earned an MBA in finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, after previously obtaining a master's degree in structural engineering and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, both from Tufts University. Looking forward, he intends to continue helping his company grow its market share in the rapidly expanding and evolving solar industry.
