Martina Barnett, MSc, Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Data Management
Ms. Barnett has been selected as a VIP Member for 2011-2012

VANCOUVER, BC, CANADA, January 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Martina Barnett, MSc, Technical Support Manager for Gemcom Software International, has been recognized as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in data management.

With 15 years of industry experience, Ms. Barnett serves as a technical support manager for Gemcom Software International, which provides geology, engineering and technology services designed for the mining industry. Ms. Barnett is an earth scientist who specializes in software packages for mining and related service industries, work flow optimization, resource evaluation, data management and database interrogation and reporting. In her position, she is responsible for providing technical support and tracking and ensuring quality of technical support provided by the North American Business Unit.

Ms. Barnett qualified as a geochemist and worked for the South African Council for Geosciences for three years in that capacity. She joined Gemcom Software International in South Africa in 2003. She worked for Anglo Research from 2006 to 2008 and relocated to Gemcom Software International in Vancouver in 2008.

In 2007, Ms. Barnett earned a Master of Science in geology from the University of Johannesburg in South Africa. She is a member of The South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. Looking forward, Ms. Barnett would like to remain with Gemcom, and be more involved in the corporate side of the business.
